By Rail: You only get direct trains to Rishikesh from Haridwar. Haridwar has good rail network with most Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Dehradun etc.
From Haridwar, you can also take the road route. It takes around 45 mins by bus and 30 mins by taxi.
By Air: Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the closest airport. Dehradun has regular flights from other airports within India.
